Description

Another commission for Vangarthia, who is always wonderful to work with, and definitely has a penchant for avian and draconic characters ;P  This time, it's the imperious Scorcia, phoenix queen, gracefully descending one of the grand staircases of her palace - the background was definitely a challenge, but actually didn't end up posing quite as much difficulty as I anticipated, thankfully!

Wow, what an awesome piece! All the fire imagery surely fits nice with her and I like the overall style. Somehow reminds me of character screens from old video games.

The flames surrounding her really add to the feel and I bet that outfit took some time to design.

Just a breathtaking piece of art overall!
