The Question of Humanity

It's not so much the question of what is a human, but rather, what is humanity?

I realized it's been three years (!) since I found the time to do a serious painting of Ash, so I made the time. Inspired by the first serious painting of Ash I ever did, done 8 years ago. I really wanted to include the Guardian's sigil on her shoulder, which I've always neglected to do - it manifests as a scar or brand on Ash, creating the shape out of shadow formed by the absence of fur able to grow over the mark, although I'm aware it perhaps more looks like another black marking amongst others.
