Thoughts of darkness and stars...
There was silence, save for the distant peals of an ancient and unreal storm. Once it raged in voiceless cacopheny, a cry from the hungry edge of non-existence. Once it rained down its spears of cruel light on the lonely combatants below as they wrestled in fear and doubt. Once it ruled, but now the storm is passed and the shroud lifted - can you see the stars shining beyond the veil?

A closeup of the thunder storm, one element of a larger composition, one layer of symbolism in a far deeper plot. Syyl Mae Tayn is yet unfinished, but I felt like uploading this one portion of it anyhow. It is a personal project of mine to convey the greater significance of a particular scene from my story, The Tripartitus, both visually and symbolically. It is sexual in nature, but underlying the fact is a lot of... things... important to the characters and plot of the story, but more importantly of some personal significance to me. What sort of things? Symbols and metaphors. Lots of them. Don't worry - I won't go into the personal, narrative, and philosophical implications of them... Not until the day I finish, anyways.

By the way, "tame the storm" is not a translation of the title. Don't ask me what it means - I won't tell you.
