There was a neat rainbow circlet surrounding the sun that day, but unfortunately the photo just doesn't do it justice.

Taken beneath one of the trees in our campsite.

Yeah, scenes like that tend to XD I bet it did, I've fallen victim to looking too directly at the sun before too XD

I was restricted to looking at it only through the viewfinder on the camera - actually looking at it hurt my already sunburnt eyes D:
