Yet another Work in Progress image of "Moment," the ancient, ancient commission for ~Kintari who has waited patiently for at least a year for me to finish it... ^^;

I haven't been able to work on it for a while - I still need to finish his wing... and the rest of the background...

I've checked with him, and he is happy with the darkness of the image. I'm well aware that it appears too dark or with the contrast too extreme on some monitors, and despite all the calibrations I've attempted, I can't seem to fix it, so I'm going by what ~Kintari likes.

I wonder if it would atually be possible for a wolf to fire a bow? Great picture btw and it's not to dark on my screen. The darkness gives depth and atomshpere anyway.

Yea I find it's dark tone fine on my screens...

Love the different eyes and colours among the arrows...

*chuckles* Probably not... although it's possible for people to fire a bow - accurately! - using their legs/feet/toes, so who knows...

And yeah, it looks fine on my monitor, too. It's a little darker on Kintari's, as far as I understand, but he thinks it adds to the depth and atmosphere, as you said, so I'll have to trust that ;P

Those eyes (tilted) just add so much mood to the piece. They suck you in and then allow you to feel the textures and beauty of the piece afterwards.
