solvet saeclum in favilla,
quantus tremor est futurus
quando Judex est venturus...
That day of wrath, the day
that will dissolve the world in ashes,
what terror there will be
when the Judge will come...
The last of the angel concepts I was tasked with coming up with this block - this time, I borrowed from classic Judaism and combined the concept of cherem, righteous destruction, with the cherubim, four-headed angels with two sets of wings - one set of wings was always folded over their body, lest their immense and holy grandeur entirely overwhelm mortal onlookers.
