Long-overdue gift art for a friend, finished in time for Christmas. :) Two dragon mates based on her description, plus a few embellishments of my own design - she is the black and magenta dragon, and he is the silver one. I tried not to rush it too much, but I'm under tight time constraints this time of year.

The image pictured is 50% original size. 20hrs? 20. Adobe PhotoShop 7.0.

whoa.. this is so cool! the heart~ the simplicity of design yet detail in the drawgons~ and i really like the stars/dust in bg. i find it so hard to come up with bgs and textures. the rings and markings are nice too~

Thank you very much :) I couldn't resist making an obvious heart-shape for a mates picture X3 That, and the background felt like it needed something extra, so I added the starry ring.
