I heard an explosion of some sort that was followed by the roar of that thing. Something struck me in the shoulder, hit me so hard I lost my balance and fell to the ground. I couldn’t stop myself from glancing back to see what had happened. What I saw made me sick to my stomach.
That thing had burst out of my car and was peeling more of it open as it tried to squeeze its massive form out of the hole it had made in my car. I could see Aaron’s hand hanging limp. I could see some of the mess that thing made of my car. Blood was pouring out of the car and onto the grass. Who knew he had so much blood in him?
And it stared at me...

Commission for WhiteFireTyger, done as an illustration for a short story of his (which I should have a link for shortly, should anyone be interested in reading it). Thoroughly enjoyed making this one! Just sad I didn't get it done in time for Halloween
Normally, I'm not into werewolves being portrayed as savage, mindless hunters of blood, but in this case, I'll make an exception (and no, I am not into Twilight). This is flat-out bad-ass and beyond epic. Not only does it look like a screenshot from a horror movie, but the way the action is conveyed makes it seem like whoever views this will become salty human tartare for the werewolf. Adding a ripped-up car (is that a Porsche or Camaro, by the way?) just adds to the overall horror feel, as it clearly depicts the immense strength any werewolf has. Finally, the blood spatter, which does not gross me out (due to personal experiences), is very realistic, especially the hand print on the windshield. Again, great job on this one; you never cease to amaze.
Thank you so much for the wonderful comment, it's greatly appreciated! *nods* Personally, I can go either way - sometimes, a big savage beast is what I'm after, while other times, you want something that seems deep and soulful, or tragic and hurt, or whathaveyou. As for the car, I'm not really sure, I think I just Google-imaged some photos of sporty-looking cars and tried to emulate that :b Heh, and yeah, the fact that he's literally ripping his way out of a car makes his power seem all the more intimidating - it was based on a story by the client, so I really wanted to capture that sense of "savage power in action". Also reminds me of the song, Varulven (Werewolf) by Garmarna, based on an old folk tale, in which a werewolf literally rips an oak tree up by the roots to get at the victim hiding in its branches o_o (Always sorta wanted to try illustrating that XD)
Anyway, thanks again! I hope your personal experience with blood spatter isn't too unfortunate
