Commission for Whitewolfhowlling, who requested a painting of his fursona in a duster standing in front of his truck, his arms dripping blood. While it can be tempting to go with a fun, dramatic pose, I asked him if it was alright for me to take a little artistic liberty with it - I felt like there was a possible story I could tell, or at least, hint at, if I tried something a little more experimental. I like how it turned out - thanks again, Whitewolf! Once again, truck highly referenced x_x Also, he wanted his fursona to somewhat resemble him in real life - hopefully I did his hair okay!
Who knows? That's what I originally thought when the client suggested the picture idea to me - whose blood? Why is it running down his arms? But rather than go for the "standing dramatically with blood running down arms" pose, I went for something a little more introspective, thought it might be interesting. Maybe he tried to commit suicide and is waiting to die? Maybe he had to kill someone, but didn't want to? Maybe he's not bleeding at all, and it's an old bloodstain he never washed off the truck for sentimental reasons?
... okay, I guess if you have fancy paddles for shifting it'd be okay, but I'll bet this old truck doesn't have those :b
