I'm sure any basic graphics program could make a badge like that I bet you could even use Word or a basic word-processing program, as well, provided you don't need any fancy graphics and just a name tag
Heh, yup :b I felt almost bad doing the toony eyes next to the "real" ones, 'cause there's no way realistic human eyes can really stand up to looking as eye-catching as oversized, extra-vibrant glittery ones!
Thank you very much! It's mostly 'cause I always try to work from photos :b In this case, the client gave me photos to work from, so I spent extra time nailing the skin texture! If you're interested, I used the pore brush here: danluvisiart.deviantart.com/ar… - I then made a new layer set to Overlay, filled it with a neutral grey, used the noise filter, then embossed it to create a bumpy, skin-like 3D texture
It's not hard, actually, if you want to know how Used a bit of the pore brush here: danluvisiart.deviantart.com/ar… - I then made a new layer on top, set to overlay, filled with neutral grey, ran it through a noise filter, then embossed it. It makes whatever is beneath it look like it has a slight 3D bumpy texture - in this case, skin, as well as the nose/tongue of the dog :b
