FULLVIEW TO HEAR

Okay, so it's too early for Christmas yet... but I wasn't sure if I was going to get the time and motivation to make this later, so I thought I should do it now...

It's Carol of the Bells, composed by Mykola Leontovych, which I've arranged for piano. I actually wrote this arrangement a few years ago (I was about 17, I think) because it was one of my favourite Christmas songs, and I wanted a fun version that I could play myself on the piano. This was the result.

Arranged in FL Studio 5 (see [link] ), and a little postwork done in Adobe Audition. ~3 hours.

Waayy cooolll! Really fun! The recording seems to go in and out a bit, but it's certainly a fun and dynamic arrangement of a very fun and "mystical-sounding" piece of music. Nice!

And... it's not actually a recording. It's .midi, where I went to great lengths to make it sound realistic by editting the dynamics of each individual note (:faint:) and then digitally adding a concert-hall-like reverb. But anyways, most of the lost quality is due to the Flash compression :b

Thus far my (very very few) attempts to arrange something that I didn't originally write never turn out very well. I'm (when I can find the motivation to) working on one right now that's an arrangement of Magus's theme from Chrono Trigger... maybe it'll come out better, heh.

I like how you did this one though.

this is one of my all time favorite peices and my absolute number 1 chirstmas song. You really have done it tue justice.

is realy good - the first deviation of this kind that i see arownd here

see if you can find a way to put it a higher quality i have problems with higher notes :S and is a shame realy because is a beautifull song
