Can you see her mind? I wonder...
I wanted to do a few things with this picture: for one, I wanted to do a realistic rendition of one of my most favourite characters using my new fur technique, but I also wanted to work on her design. I've been playing with her over the past few years, refining her features, constantly trying to better convey what I feel she truly looks like (which can be difficult, for one who can change at will). Here, she looks most like a typical big cat of the jungle... yet one learned to felines might realise she actually doesn't belong to any existing species. I hope I've created a convincing design and portrayed her in a believable manner, but at the same time, retained her personality.
20. ~10 hours in Adobe PhotoShop 7.0. Early WIP images can be found here.
